Hello,

I’m Suze, the host of The House in Deal.

My family and I first discovered Deal back in 2019 when visiting friends, and we instantly fell in love with this beautiful seaside town.

There’s something about Deal’s mix of charm, history, friendliness and that endless horizon that keeps drawing us back.

We love staying here, and we’re delighted that you are too!

Why The House in Deal?

I always dreamed of having a cosy coastal escape; somewhere to slow down, breathe in the sea air, and truly relax. The House in Deal is exactly that: a seaside home where you can switch off and enjoy everything this beautiful Georgian town has to offer.

Though I’m not based in Deal full-time, I love sharing the house with others who want to experience the same calm and joy we’ve found here. With a simple self-check-in (any time after 4pm using the lock box), it’s easy to make yourself at home right away.

A Little About Me

As well as being your host, I’m also a children’s author and an Instagram coach. I’m a wife, a mum, and a dog-mum to Jasper — our very cute toy cavapoo who loves early morning beach walks with my husband, Rich, especially when there’s a sunrise to catch.

Me? I love the sea from the shore. It calms my soul to see it and hear it, even if I’m not brave enough to jump in (unlike our daughter, who dives in every time — she’s our little mermaid!).

A Home from Home

This isn’t just a house to us: it’s a place filled with memories, laughter, comfort, and connection. And that’s what I want to share with you.

Whether you’re here for a weekend escape, a family holiday, or a longer stay by the sea, The House in Deal is yours to enjoy. Mi casa su casa!

And please know that your four-legged furry family members are just as welcome as you are, so if you’re bringing your dog along, they’ll feel right at home too.
